Help feed and cloth the homeless of Downtown Los Angeles for Thanksgiving. “Winter is coming” as the Stark family in Game of Thrones said, which means that a lot of homeless people in LA will be freezing without the right clothes to protect them. But we can help them, even if it’s in the smallest way, even for just one day. Let’s come together and collect canned food and donate any clothing to shield them from the cold!
The food and clothing will be given to the organization called "The Midnight Mission" in Downtown.
We will collect any donation on these dates
- Tuesday, November 17 forums
- Friday, November 20 Bonfire
- Saturday, November 21 Ice skating (if we can find someone to volunteer to drive the donations)
- Tuesday, November 24 on the last meetings.

If you collect 10 or more items of either clothing or canned food (can be both), you will earn one event credit. More than 10 items is greatly appreciated!
Everything will be taken downtown on Thanksgiving day 11/26/15 to The Midnight Mission to be given to the homeless people of Skid Row.
