Hey there Kappans, hope you guys want to learn more on PTK and network with other chapters! The Regional Summit is held in order for members of respective chapters to attend workshops all covering certain topics on PTK hallmarks, projects, and anything that may surprise you while you're there. The officers have attended their workshops in Sacramento and now it is your turn if you are really thinking about finding out what PTK has to offer other than a transcript notation, scholarships, and a fancy pin & certificate in the mail! Nicole Wassef, Southwest Regional VP, will also be hosting this event, so be sure to reach out to her before or while you are there at the summit!
Nicole provided information on the event and said there is no limit on how many members of our chapter can attend, so with that in mind be sure to go to the summit for an incredible experience!
When: Saturday, November 14
Where: East Los Angeles College, Foyer of Rosco C. Ingalls Auditorium
Time: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Note: There will be a way to carpool and it is by the board members providing a ride if you really wish to go. There is a need to pay $10 for the registration, but it turns out now with recent information that if you attend the event that you will be refunded the $10. If you sign up then you must go in order to receive the refund, or else PTK Headquarters will require you to pay $10.
Also, be sure to sign up here on our event page and on the link provided below from the PTK NV/CA district to sign up for the event on their roster. This means you have to sign up twice, once for us to have our roster, and another through the link below.

Carpooling:
- If you need rides or are offering rides, comment on our blog post here. Please note also that the board will be attending the event and will be providing rides to those in need.
- If you are receiving a ride from a board member, or prefer to go together as a group instead of finding your own way, then understand that we (the board) will be leaving Santa Monica College at 8:30 a.m. in order to arrive on time.
- We will be meeting by the Business Building (the building with reflective glass) at 8:20 a.m. and be driving off at 8:30 a.m. Edgar (President) will send off an email that will include a map of where to meet at East LA College, a picture of the building, and message by Friday evening so no is lost in the process.
