Imagine the opportunity to study at one of the top schools in the nation... Stanford University! This is an incredible opportunity where students can study during the summer at Stanford classes varying from Sciences, International Management, Human Rights, and so on, as well participate in workshops, events hosted by keynote speakers, and explore the Silicon Valley.
As it happens, I want to share you with some information, assistance, and experiences from my time at Stanford. I learned about the program myself from a fellow Kappan who went before me, Cameron Diwa, who also became a Stanford Global Ambassador (living the dream!). Now, I have the great opportunity to be a SGA as well as Cameron was and will not only be sharing the process of applying, the opportunities present, as I will also provide some tips on the personal statement, websites I used to receive scholarships, and some testimonies from friends I met at Stanford to speak on their experience. I will be speaking on my studies that focused on human rights and international management in business, as well Cameron will be present to discuss about his studies in film and English while he attended Stanford.
Note: Please sign up below in order to know how many people will be attending and I will send a follow up mail in mid-January about the event. If your friends are interested please tell them to sign up as well.
